It’s The Evil, Not The Damn Guns

December 15, 2012 by bfranklin2076

My heart truly goes out to the families of the victims in Connecticut. If you turn on most of the corporate mass media this evening you won’t find many of the answers either. The truth is that we now live in a world that is morally bankrupt and spiritually broken. Evil has and is continuing to permeate into our culture. Events like this will continue to happen until we learn to respect the value of life, liberty, and property rights. It goes way deeper than banning guns or even limiting access to certain guns. Death and destruction have become common in our society. I think we need to engage in deeper and more meaningful discussions on the bigger picture issues. I actually could not take it any more so I turned off the TV. Try not to listen to the propaganda from the media elites who have already politicized this event against guns to try and distract us from the real issues. We are engaged in a culture war. Again thoughts and prayers to all the victims tonight.

Lord, may You be with the families tonight and throughout this Christmas season. Fill their hearts with relief and rest in You, let them know their children, Your children, are in Good hands. Fill their souls with trust and let them draw nearer to Thee, and not farther from. Please, God, bless these families with your mercy and love, and let us come together in Faith, so that we may combat the evil in our culture and strike the devil from our thoughts of judgement, Your judgement. Please have patience with us as we struggle to regain the trust, love and faith in You that we once had. Please bring to these families the thoughts and prayers of all your children sharing their grief, let it embolden them, strengthen them, and encourage them to actively and outwardly proclaim Your Glory and Guidance. Let them direct their lives to Your Will and Purpose. I Pray this for these Americans, with all of my love through Jesus Christ, your Son, Amen.

I agree…it is evil, not the guns. We need to stop coddling…for the lack of a better word…the mentally ill. They need help and we need to be protected from them.

This is what happens when you trade liberty for the appearance of security. Again, a gun free zone proves to be a victim rich zone. Who thought it would be a good idea to leave our children defenseless, when the world is known to have monsters in it?

The police were impressed that they got there within 10 minutes. Really? 10 minutes for a monster to work? 10 seconds is too long.

It is flat out unethical to mandate our children be defenseless. I advocate mandatory CCW and combatives for all teachers. Why should we entrust the safety of our children to people who are incapable of defending them?

Where is the outrage that this school, that hundreds of parents entrusted their children to, was legally forbidden from keeping their children safe?
